The Indian economy is on an upwards trend and with this it has witnessed the
birth of many new airline companies as well as many new air-travel-related
services in recent years. Naturally, this has led to the creation of countless
airline jobs in India. People who take up these jobs usually have a penchant for
travel and most aviation jobs in India do pay a good wage. These are just a
couple of reasons why people flock at the first opportunity of securing jobs in
the airline industry in India. There are many different areas of work in which
you can seek to find jobs with airline companies. One could, for instance, seek
airline reservation jobs, flight-attendant positions, find work as pilots or
even take up a position as part of an airline's ground crew.
Each job has
its own set of responsibilities and for a flight attendant the work basically
involves ensuring that the passengers have a safe and pleasant trip. Some of the
duties therefore include welcoming the passengers on board the aircraft and
ensuring that they adhere to the safety norms by buckling their seat-belts and
staying seated during turbulence. Flight attendants must also ensure that the
aircraft is properly sealed and that the doors are locked properly before
take-off. One of the most sought-after jobs is that of an air-hostess or
stewardess. These jobs have always attracted many women as they have a certain
glamour quotient. But these jobs are also very grueling and an air-hostess must
smile and remain calm and polite through the trip irrespective of the demeanor
of passengers.
