Airline Pilot Jobs
With a rapidly expanding business world and racing economy, India has witnessed
the birth of many new airline companies in recent years. This has created jobs
pilot aviation and many other jobs for the Indian public in the positions of
flight crew members and ground crew members. The crew of an airline may have
responsibilities aboard an aircraft like air-hostesses do or may have ground
jobs to do like booking flights etc. Pilot jobs in airlines are much
sought-after as are overseas aviation jobs but many people are not able to take
up such positions because they do not fit the medical requirements. For
instance, one of the things that employers look for in pilots is a strong
eye-sight. In fact, ideal candidates are those with 20-20 vision. Many people
are thus eliminated simply because they cannot meet these criteria. But both
pilot jobs and airline situations in general draw a great many applicants as
many people are lured by the promise of travel. In truth, however, most people
who have worked for airlines feel that though they do get to travel, a chance to
actually enjoy a city is rare as their schedules are very tight.
Aside
from this, another downside to such jobs is that there is little scope for
promotion and also that employees risk their health because of being unable to
go by their body's natural clock. An employee, who wakes up in one city and
sleeps in another, cannot get his or her body clock to work rhythmically and
hence their eating patterns are disrupted with detrimental effects on their
health in the long run.
